WHY WE STARTED
OUR STORY
ROOTED IN COMMUNITY
As proud Central Texas residents and members of local organizations, we are dedicated to serving the families of this region with the compassion and care they deserve. Whether you are in Round Rock, Austin, or the surrounding counties, Golden Age Ascension is here — not just as a service, but as a neighbor who understands what this moment means. We believe in the strength of our community and actively engage with local organizations to create impactful partnerships that benefit everyone. Join us in making a difference!
We didn't come to this industry from the outside. We came from loss — real, personal, close-to-home loss — and from years of witnessing how profoundly the quality of end-of-life care affects the people left behind. Golden Age Ascension was built with one intention: that every family who comes to us leaves feeling held, not just helped.Grief has a way of clarifying what matters. After walking through our own seasons of loss — including moments that reminded us, in the quietest and most unexpected ways, that love doesn't really leave — we knew we wanted to build something that honored that truth. Golden Age Ascension is that something.
About
Bradley Laurich
Though new to the funeral profession, Brad's greatest strengths have always been the ones that matter most here: genuine patience, a calm and grounding presence, and a natural ability to help people feel less alone when things feel hardest.
An alumnus of The University of Texas at Austin, Brad has been recognized throughout his career for his dedication to service and his gift for showing up for others when it counts most, especially after experiencing the loss of his mother and brother.
That same steady, compassionate presence is what he now brings to families navigating one of life's most tender moments.
About
Desirae Rose
Desirae came to this work the way most meaningful things arrive — through personal experience with loss. Grief entered her life early, and it left a quiet mark that has shaped how she moves through the world and how she shows up for others.
Her background is rooted in care. As a hospice volunteer, she sat with people at the end of life — offering presence, comfort, and the kind of quiet support that doesn't ask anything in return. That experience lives in how she shows up for every family she serves. She also brings a grounded awareness of the body, nervous system, and healing — informed by her work as a sound healing practitioner — that shapes the way she holds space for people in pain.
Desirae believes that no family should feel rushed, confused, or alone in this process. She's here to listen without judgment, answer every question with honesty, and help you find a path forward that feels right for your loved one and for you.
